Life seems to move pretty fast. Throw in an, almost, three year old boy, with one on the way, a yellow lab and all of the daily to-do’s and that leaves little time to communicate with your significant other.

Communication is the foundation to a deeply connected and rooted relationship.

Fifty-Four Hours

Small get togethers with close friends and family are experiences that last a lifetime. These are the exact moments that define our lives.

This was the opening pitch I gave during demo night for Startup Weekend Cedar Rapids 2015.

Though, those small get togethers with the people you cherish most are moments that define our lives, it’s also the moments where complete strangers come together to do one thing; build.

It was an experience that I will forever cherish.

The voice in our head tends to control our every move. It’s called the ego. It’s this living breathing thing that looks to you to feed it. The ego is able to survive by living through your actions.

Because of this your life becomes that of the ego. Your version of reality is the ego, thus the introduction to your unhappiness.
